Roles and Responsibilities:

- Testing/Repair/dispatch clearance of SEW Electronics products, Making Report’s & sending Estimates and dispatch advice to Dispatch dept.
- Pre-Dispatch testing of New Inverter received in Lab on T-order and maintaining its record.
- Testing the rejected and returned material from customer and necessary actions for taking the same into stock, in co-ordination with materials dept.
- Online (Thro. Telephonic conversation) service support to customers / branch engineers on service / Commissioning of electronics.
- First line of contact for Germany / Invertek on information related to Repairs & technical support of electronics products – Jointly (Manager D&A;).
- Recommendations for inventory maintenance of critical components of repairs to smoothen the repairing activity – Jointly (Manager D&A;).
- Maintaining Service documentation for all Service conducted.
- Maintain the Service center and all the required tools, tackles, equipment in positive working condition and timely maintenance/ calibration of the same.
- Getting the Old units back from customer for which we had already sent the FOC replacement.




- Sending Objection report to Germany / Invertek for Warranty Failure case for getting the free replacement from Germany / Invertek.
- Receiving SRF from the respective sales dept and allocating the job to service engineers and to follow up till the completion of job.-Jointly (Manager D&A;).
- Co-Ordination in the expansion project including the new Repair setup and Assembly of electronics products.
- Training on repair & testing to the New Joined Engineers.
- Maintenance of Quality Manual System.

Job Requirements:

- Candidate experience in in-house Repair/service/Commissioning
- Must have experience in VFD Repairing.
- BE/Diploma – Electrical & Electronics / Electrical engineer, BE with 2 to 5 years of exp & Diploma with 4 to 7 years of experience.
- Should have Good communication, technical Skills & repair/Service skills (Service process, Documentation, Failure Analysis etc)
- Experience in repairing & testing of automation products especially drives (VFD), repairing & testing of power electronics components, understanding circuit /schematic drawing, soldering of SMD components
- Knowledge in Failure analysis and report generation
- ISO documentation awareness. SAP knowledge & Good Communication skill are added advantages.
