Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Procurement professional to manage end-to-end CAPEX and OPEX procurement activities for Greenfield and Brownfield pharmaceutical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage procurement activities for CAPEX and OPEX requirements across Engineering, Production, Utility, HVAC, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, and Laboratory functions.

Handle sourcing, vendor identification, evaluation, and development activities.

Conduct techno-commercial evaluations and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.

Prepare and release purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Projects, QA, QC, Production, and Finance, for seamless project execution.

Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to delivery schedules and quality standards.

Ensure compliance with GMP requirements,



company procurement policies, and statutory regulations.

Drive cost optimization initiatives and continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Maintain procurement documentation, MIS reports, and vendor records.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / MBA or related discipline
- 10-15 years of experience in Engineering Procurement within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Hands-on experience in CAPEX and OPEX procurement for Greenfield and Brownfield projects.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
- Knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements, and project procurement activities.
