Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Consultant Consultant to provide clinical leadership at our Neuro and Stroke Continuum Care Facility in Kozhikode & Kochi, Kerala. The role involves managing patients recovering from stroke, neurological disorders, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and other complex medical conditions requiring long-term rehabilitation and post-acute care.

Qualifications

MBBS with MD/DNB in:

General Medicine

Emergency Medicine

Critical Care Medicine/Intensive Care

Internal Medicine or equivalent with relevant experience.

Valid NMC/State Medical Council registration.

ACLS/BLS certification preferred.

Experience

3 -12 years of clinical experience in Critical Care, Neuro Rehabilitation, Stroke Care, or Post-Acute Care..

Experience in quality standards, patient safety initiatives, and multidisciplinary team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical management for neuro and stroke rehabilitation patients.





Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Manage medical complications and coordinate multidisciplinary care.

Ensure compliance with NABH/JCI standards, clinical governance, and patient safety protocols.

Supervise junior doctors and clinical teams.

Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and emergency management.

Key Competencies

Expertise in managing medically complex rehabilitation patients.

Sound understanding of NABH/JCI standards and clinical governance.
