Position: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) English

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced PGT English Teacher to teach senior secondary students (Classes XI & XII). The ideal candidate should possess excellent subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire students through engaging and interactive teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach English Language and Literature to senior secondary students.
- Develop lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and learning materials.
- Evaluate students' academic performance through regular tests, assignments, and examinations.
- Foster critical thinking, communication, reading, and writing skills among students.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance,



grades, and student progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and academic support to students.
- Prepare students for board examinations and competitive assessments, where applicable.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes.

Qualifications

- Master's Degree in English from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
- CTET/TET qualification (if applicable as per school requirements).
- Robust command of spoken and written English.
