Job Description: CAD Administrator CATIA V5

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled CAD Administrator with strong hands-on experience in CATIA V5 administration, deployment, and support. The role will focus on supporting global engineering users, managing CAD global environments, ensuring smooth application performance, and resolving production issues efficiently.

Experience with PDM/PLM systems, database environments, and license administration will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2/L3 production support for global engineering users across CAD applications, primarily CATIA V5.
- Configure, deploy, and validate CATIA V5 OEM environments and mCAD distributions for global OEM customers.
- Support CATIA V5 installation, upgrades, validation, troubleshooting, and environment maintenance.
- Troubleshoot user access, login, application startup, and setting-related issues to minimize production downtime.
- Analyze logs and resolve recurring issues related to CATIA V5 and deployment failures.
- Perform SCCM packaging, deployment, installation, and upgrade activities for engineering applications.
- Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and changes using ServiceNow and Jira in line with ITSM practices.
- Maintain CMDB records, support user lifecycle and asset management activities, and generate operational reports.
- Develop PowerShell scripts to automate administrative and operational tasks.




- Support global engineering users and OEM environments across multiple regions including APAC, EMEA, and North America.
- Exposure to DSLS and FlexLM license administration, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Required Skills and Experience

- Strong hands-on experience in CATIA V5 administration and support.
- Experience in CAD environment setup, deployment, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SCCM for software packaging and deployment.
- Experience with ServiceNow and Jira for incident and change management.
- Strong communication and coordination skills for global support.

- Experience in PDM/PLM systems such as Teamcenter or SmarTeam.
- Knowledge of database environments such as Oracle.
- Experience supporting global OEM customers example such as BMW, Ford, JLR, Renault, Toyota, Volvo, VW, Honda, and others.
- Familiarity with engineering data management, document control, and revision management.
- Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience supporting enterprise engineering applications in a global environment.
