Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Plant Head to oversee the overall operations of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have robust leadership skills and extensive experience in managing production, quality, maintenance, and plant administration within a mechanical manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant.
- Ensure smooth production planning and execution to achieve production targets.
- Monitor productivity, quality standards, and operational efficiency.
- Supervise production, maintenance, quality, stores, and dispatch functions.
- Ensure preventive maintenance of machinery and minimize downtime.
- Implement cost-control measures and improve operational performance.




- Maintain compliance with safety, statutory, and environmental regulations.
- Lead, motivate, and develop plant personnel for optimum performance.
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare MIS reports and provide regular updates to the management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in plant operations, with experience in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and maintenance.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle manpower, production planning, and cross-functional coordination effectively.
