Factory Manager

Objective

Responsible for strategic planning and leading strategic initiatives to scale up operations, production and overall management.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the entire Factory Management.
- Plan and able to arrange company production requirements on time, ensuring the effectiveness in manufacturing process.
- Increase capacity based on the companys business plan by developing recent vendors, in-house capacity, etc.
- Effective utilization of resources to increase productivity & reduce the cost of production.
- Process re-engineering for better cost control, sustained quality & productivity.
- Evaluate and control budgeted cost vs actual cost.
- Adopt a new operational methodology to improve product quality standards and reduce conversion time and cost.
- Meet the desired product quality standards as per the updated norms.
- Analysing new products and giving suggestions for operational effectiveness and cost reduction.
- Contain rework and rejection levels below the organisations standards.
- Drive the entire team to achieve the organization’s goals. Also ensure that the second-line team in each department is effectively delivering their goals.




- Identify training and development requirements for team members.
- Create a performance-oriented culture for sustainability.
- Implementation of lean systems and TQM tools.
- Should know factory and labour law and be able to meet all compliance requirements.
- Provide regular reports on production performance, including efficiency, quality, and cost management metrics
- Oversee the procurement of raw materials and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely done with proper quality standards.
- Implement new technologies and methodologies in Factory running process.
- SAP – overall exposure would be added advantage.
- Ensure compliance on Health and Safety regulations within the Factory environment.
- 6s Process implementation skills and experience.
- Cross – Departmental collaboration to be ensured in the Factory environment.
- Oversee the Factory operation financial status.

The position ensures total management to overseeing all aspects in the Factory management

ensuring Production management, Quality Assurance, Team leadership, Process optimization,

Cost management & Admin. Control.
