- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with hospital objectives.
- Manage procurement of medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, surgical supplies, laboratory consumables, and general hospital materials.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
- Supervise warehouse operations, receiving, storage, and distribution processes.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain solid vendor relationships.
- Coordinate with clinical, nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, and administrative departments to understand supply requirements.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, quality standards, and hospital procurement policies.
- Analyze purchasing trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Implement inventory control systems such as FIFO, FEFO, and cycle counting.




- Lead demand forecasting and procurement planning.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, order fulfillment, stock availability, and procurement savings.
- Manage supply chain risks and develop contingency plans for critical supplies.
- Lead and mentor procurement, stores, and logistics teams.
- Prepare reports on procurement performance, inventory status, and supplier evaluations for senior management.Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

- 5-10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics.
- At least 3-5 years in a managerial role within a hospital or healthcare organization is preferred.
- Experience with hospital ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) is desirable.
