We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Lead AI Engineer to architect, design, and develop our next-generation AI-enabled software product. This is a leadership role for an experienced engineer who is passionate about building scalable AI systems, mentoring technical teams, and driving end-to-end product development from concept to deployment.

The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in AI/ML with strong software engineering and system architecture skills, enabling the delivery of production-grade AI applications that solve real-world business challenges.

Job Summary

- The successful candidate will be responsible for designing the technical solution, developing key product components, and providing technical guidance to the engineering team to ensure robust, scalable, and high-quality product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect and design the overall solution for an AI-enabled software product, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Design and develop AI capabilities, including intelligent agents, Small Language Models (SLMs), LLM integration, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), image recognition, OCR, and other AI/ML components.
- Develop core product components across the full technology stack, including backend services, APIs, databases, and frontend applications.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies,



frameworks, and tools to support product development.
- Review solution designs and code, provide technical guidance to the development team, and support resolution of complex technical issues.
- Establish quality standards, support test strategy, and promote engineering best practices such as code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, including experience in designing and developing AI-enabled applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with up-to-date full-stack technologies (e.g., React, Node.js, FastAPI, Java/Spring Boot, or similar frameworks).
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, SLMs, AI agents, RAG, prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and computer vision/image recognition.
- Experience with AI frameworks and tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and relational/NoSQL/vector databases.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, microservices, API design, and secure, scalable application development.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical mentoring skills.
