Role Overview

The DGM – Accounts will report to the Head – Accounts and serve as the second-in-command within the Accounts function. The role will drive/ support financial reporting, controllership, audit coordination, MIS, statutory compliance and stakeholder management while supporting finance transformation and IPO readiness.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive monthly, quarterly and annual financial closures across entities.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements, schedules, management MIS and variance analysis.
- Ensure accuracy of books,



reconciliations and strong financial controls.
- Lead interactions with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants and other assurance partners.
- Manage statutory, tax and regulatory compliance and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Develop Excel-based MIS, analytical models, dashboards and management reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and Board reporting.
- Collaborate with strategic finance stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Drive ERP improvements, finance automation and process standardisation initiatives.
- Strengthen internal financial controls, documentation and IPO readiness initiatives.
- Mentor finance team members and independently own assigned finance workstreams.
- Support the Head – Accounts in strategic and operational finance initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Robust end-to-end accounting and financial closure experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Confident in dealing with auditors and senior finance professionals.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and MIS reporting capability.
- High ownership, execution mindset and attention to detail.
- Exposure to multi-entity environments and ERP systems is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to independently drive assignments with a strong ownership mindset and minimal supervision.
