- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering.

- Experience:
- 4-8 years of experience in Energy Sector as a Business Analyst/Consultant

- Preferred:
- Certifications like CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications

- Skills:
- Strong understanding of energy sector operations:
- Distribution utilities, transmission networks, and generation plants
- Renewable energy systems and energy storage technologies
- Familiarity with industry systems like SCADA, OMS, EMS, GIS
- Experience in requirement gathering, documentation, and process modeling
- Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with experience in:
- Excel (advanced), SQL




- Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Basic understanding of APIs, system integrations, and databases
- Experience with utility billing systems or smart metering projects
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards in energy sector
- Exposure to cloud platforms or digital transformation projects
- Experience with energy trading or market operations
- Familiarity with sustainability, carbon tracking, or ESG reporting
- Knowledge of IoT applications in energy (smart meters, grid analytics)

+ You would be responsible for

Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze,



and document business and functional requirements
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, BRDs, FRDs, and process flows
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings

Energy Domain Expertise

- Work on projects related to:
- Power generation (thermal, hydro, renewable)
- Transmission & distribution (T&D;) systems
- Smart grid, AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure), and SCADA systems
- Renewable energy (solar, wind) and energy storage solutions
- Understand regulatory frameworks, tariffs, and compliance requirements

Process Improvement & Optimization

- Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement
- Recommend and implement process optimization strategies
- Support digital transformation initiatives (ERP, OMS, EMS, billing systems)

Data Analysis & Reporting

- Analyze large datasets related to energy consumption, generation, and distribution
- Create dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Provide insights to support decision-making and operational efficiency

Solution Design & Validation

- Work with technical teams to design system solutions aligned with business needs
- Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure requirements are met
- Validate system functionality and performance

Stakeholder Management

- Act as a liaison between business users, technical teams, and vendors
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Support change management and user training initiatives
