- Educate patients on their eye condition, diagnosis, and proposed treatment/surgery/lens
- Explain procedures, surgery timelines, and pre/post-operative instructions.
- Assist with form filling, consent documentation, and payment options.
- Address queries and anxieties of patients and their relatives with clarity and empathy.
- Support coordination between patients, OT scheduling, optical, pharmacy, and doctors.
- Maintain counseling records and follow-up call logs.
- Collect testimonials and feedback for quality improvement.
- Provide reassurance to nervous patients, especially elderly and pediatric cases.
- Guide outstation patients regarding travel, stay, and follow-up plans.
- Provide knowledge to patient to make informative decision regarding treatment.
