Post: Assistant Product Manager

Key Purpose: To deliver Pedagogical workshops and Curriculum within the Schools, internal and external Teacher training/development programme/Workshops, to provide inspiring, innovative and outstanding coaching and support, to develop and improve teaching, learning and assessment in the Schools.

Key Deliverables:

A) Assistant Product Manager will be the face of S.Chand Publishing in the school therefore, the role requires high level of ownership, customer focus and commitment.

B) Requires extensive travel to schools within the assigned geography and sometime even outside the assigned territory.

C) Requires imparting training to the teachers, coaching & support to the school leaders and ongoing observation & coaching to the teachers on the S.Chand Publishing books and Curriculum services in the school.

D) To provide clarifications, suggestions and answers to related queries of the school and openly communicate issues & challenges in the schools with the Senior Product Manager.

Facilitating training workshops and seminars for Teachers and Parents. Developing modules for teachers training based on experiential learning,

F) Having fair understanding of teaching/ solutioning K-12 class.

G) On-ground academic support for the implementing the curriculum, Improving teacher’s skill basis experiential learning curriculum & training modules.

Job Specification:

- Past teaching and training experience (at least 3-5 years) preferably with exposure to K-12 publishing , Curriculum , experiential learning, Content writing experience would be an added advantage.

- Degree in education/key subjects (Science, Mathematics, English, Social Science) is desirable, Past experiences of training & coaching is desirable.

- Should be open to travel outstation

- Ability to demonstrate and train teachers on conducting effective classroom session

- Ability to run group sessions including training and workshops.
- Ability to communicate clearly across levels, work closely with Owners, Principals and teachers.

- Time management Calendar discipline as the candidate would be travelling & meeting multiple people

- Customer orientation & quick response time.

- Zeal to understand the customer requirements and support them.
