- Job Summary:
- The Recovery Team Leader is responsible for leading and managing a team of recovery officers to achieve collection and recovery targets while maintaining high standards of customer service and regulatory compliance. The role involves monitoring team performance, coaching staff, resolving escalated cases, and implementing effective recovery strategies to minimize financial losses.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the recovery team to achieve monthly recovery targets.
- Allocate accounts and monitor team productivity and performance.
- Develop and implement effective recovery and collection strategies.
- Handle complex or escalated customer cases and negotiate repayment solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for management.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.




- Identify training needs and support employee development.
- Monitor portfolio quality and recommend process improvements.
- Coordinate with legal, operations, and customer service teams to resolve recovery-related issues.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in collections, recovery, or credit management, including team leadership experience.
- Solid leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recovery/collections management systems.
