- Prepare tissues by fixing, embedding, sectioning, and staining specimens using standard histological techniques.
- Produce high-quality slides for microscopic analysis, ensuring clarity and consistency.
- Operate and maintain lab instruments such as microtomes, cryostats, and staining machines.
- Accurately label specimens and maintain detailed records in Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
- Follow strict protocols for infection control, specimen handling, and lab safety.
- Support pathologists and senior technicians during diagnostic procedures and audits.

Job Requirements

- Technical skills in Microtomy, staining (H&E;, IHC), tissue processing, and LIS proficiency.
- Education: DMLT/B.sc(MLT).
- Experience: 2-3 years in Histopathology Technician.




- Ability to work effectively in a team workplace.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems and software.
