About the Role

We are looking for a creative and technically strong Senior Designer with extensive experience in managed office and commercial workplace design. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling projects from concept to execution while coordinating with internal teams, consultants, vendors, and clients to deliver high-quality work within timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Planning

- Develop space planning layouts based on client requirements and workplace strategy.
- Prepare concept designs, mood boards, material palettes, and presentation decks.
- Design reception areas, collaboration zones, cafeterias, workstations, meeting rooms, and breakout spaces.
- Ensure designs are functional, aesthetically appealing, and aligned with brand identity.
- Optimize layouts for maximum efficiency and future scalability.

Technical Documentation

- Prepare detailed CAD drawings including:
- General Arrangement (GA) Plans
- Furniture Layouts
- Ceiling Plans
- Flooring Plans
- Electrical & Lighting Layouts
- Joinery Details
- Interior Elevations
- Coordinate with MEP, HVAC, Fire, Structural, and IT consultants.
- Review consultant drawings and resolve design coordination issues.

Client Management

- Attend client meetings and understand project requirements.
- Present layouts, concepts, and 3D designs confidently.
- Incorporate client feedback while maintaining design integrity.
- Support the Business Development team during pitches and presentations.

Project Coordination

- Work closely with Project Management, Procurement, QS, and Execution teams.
- Conduct site visits during execution to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Resolve site-related design challenges and issue revised drawings when required.
- Monitor design deliverables to meet aggressive project timelines.





Quality & Standards

- Ensure compliance with NBC, fire safety, accessibility, and local authority regulations.
- Maintain company design standards and documentation quality.
- Review BOQs and material specifications for design accuracy.
- Stay updated with workplace trends, sustainable materials, and new technologies.

Team Collaboration

- Mentor junior designers and review their work.
- Coordinate with 3D visualization teams for renders and walkthroughs.
- Support the VP Design in developing design standards and libraries.

- Adobe Photoshop
- Enscape / Lumion / D5 (Preferred)
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Knowledge of workplace ergonomics and planning standards
- Material and furniture specification knowledge
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent coordination and problem-solving abilities

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Professional certification is an added advantage.
