About the Role

O P Bagla & Co LLP is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Chartered Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience across multiple domains, including Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Direct & Indirect Taxation, Financial Reporting, Accounting, and Advisory Services. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with clients across diverse industries and gain exposure to complex assignments.

Key Responsibilities

Audit & Assurance

- Conduct Statutory Audits, Internal Audits, and Tax Audits.
- Prepare audit plans, working papers, and audit reports.
- Identify risks and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Direct & Indirect Taxation

- Prepare and review Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms, LLPs, and companies.
- Handle GST compliance, including return filing, reconciliations, assessments, and notices.
- Assist clients in tax planning and advisory matters.
- Represent clients before tax authorities, wherever required.

Accounting & Financial Reporting

- Review books of accounts and financial statements.
- Finalize financial statements as per applicable Accounting Standards.
- Perform ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.




- Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management.

Compliance & Advisory

- Ensure timely statutory compliances under applicable laws.
- Support clients in business advisory, due diligence, and financial consulting assignments.
- Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and regulatory authorities.
- Assist in process improvement and implementation of best practices.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, Auditing Standards, Income Tax, GST, and Companies Act.
- Hands-on experience in Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Taxation, and Financial Reporting.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP), and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Robust communication and client management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Qualified
- 2–6 years of post-qualification experience in a CA Firm.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Prior experience in a Chartered Accountancy Firm.
- Exposure to multiple industries such as Manufacturing, Trading, Services, Real Estate, and Startups.
- Ability to independently handle client assignments.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach.
