We are looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented Cashier to manage billing operations, payment collections, and customer interactions. The ideal candidate should have experience in retail, QSR, restaurants, cafs, bakeries, or similar customer-facing environments, with solid cash handling and POS billing skills.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Order Processing

- Process customer orders accurately through the POS system.
- Generate bills and ensure correct pricing and item quantities.
- Maintain accurate billing records and prevent duplicate or missed transactions.
- Ensure all sales are recorded as per company procedures.

Cash & Payment Management

- Verify the opening cash float at the beginning of each shift.
- Handle cash, UPI, debit/credit cards, wallets, and other digital payment methods.
- Reconcile daily cash collections with POS sales reports.
- Prepare end-of-day cash closing reports.
- Report any cash shortages or discrepancies immediately.

Customer Service

- Welcome customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Assist customers with billing-related queries.
- Inform customers about ongoing offers, promotions, and menu items.
- Coordinate with service staff to ensure smooth order processing.

Sales & Upselling

- Promote add-on products, combo offers, and seasonal specials.
- Support outlet sales by effectively upselling products.
- Build a positive customer experience through proactive service.

Financial Controls & Compliance

- Ensure every customer order is billed accurately.
- Prevent unauthorized discounts or refunds.
- Follow company cash handling policies and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and sales information.





Reporting & Documentation

- Maintain daily billing and sales records.
- Prepare daily sales summaries and cash reports.
- Maintain refund and void bill registers.
- Support internal audits and management reporting requirements.

Hygiene & Operational Standards

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the billing counter.
- Ensure POS systems and billing equipment are functioning properly.
- Adhere to company grooming standards and operational guidelines.

Candidate Profile

Education

- Minimum 10+2 (Intermediate).
- Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency is required.

Experience

- 1 - 5 years of experience as a Cashier in any of the following:
- QSR
- Restaurant
- Caf
- Bakery
- Sweet Shop
- Retail Outlet

Required Skills

- Experience with POS billing software.
- Strong cash handling and reconciliation skills.
- Knowledge of UPI, QR code, wallet, debit/credit card, and cash transactions.
- Basic MS Excel and computer knowledge.
- Good numerical and mathematical skills.
- Ability to prepare end-of-day cash reports.
