Role & responsibilities

1. Lead and oversee overall operations including Production, Design, Quality, Planning, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Dispatch.
2. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, quality, efficiency, and profitability.
3. Ensure effective coordination between Design, Production, Quality, Procurement, and Sales for timely execution of customer orders.
4. Drive continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and best manufacturing practices.
5. Ensure compliance with ISO standards, statutory regulations, safety requirements, and company policies.
6. Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions to achieve business objectives.
7. Lead internal, external, and customer audits, ensuring effective implementation of RCA and CAPA.
8. Build and mentor high-performing teams while fostering a culture of quality, safety, innovation, and accountability.

Preferred candidate profile

1.



10 to 15 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations, including a senior leadership role.
2. Experience in Heavy Engineering, Hydraulic Equipment, Precision Machining, or Industrial Manufacturing.
3. Strong knowledge of Design, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Plant Operations.
4. Hands-on experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, customer audits, and statutory compliance.
5. Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and Operational Excellence.
6. Solid leadership, strategic planning, communication, and decision-making skills.
7. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering. MBA is an added advantage.
8. Candidates based in or willing to work from Visakhapatnam will be preferred.
