Responsibilities

- Provide emotional support and counselling to individuals and couples undergoing IVF treatments and gynaecologist treatment.
- Conduct initial assessments and ongoing support sessions with patients.
- Help patients understand the IVF process and manage their expectations.
- Develop and implement individualized counselling plans.
- Work collaboratively with gynaecologists, fertility specialists, embryologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Keep accurate records of patient interactions and counselling sessions.
- Provide educational resources and referrals to additional support services as needed.

Qualifications

- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) / Master of Science (M.Sc.)
- Master's degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience in reproductive health or fertility counselling is preferred.
- Robust understanding of the emotional and psychological aspects of infertility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, compassion, and the ability to provide non-judgmental support to patients.
