A) Role & responsibilities

- MDB Engagement and Coordination: Serve as the principal point of coordination with Multilateral Development Banks and State/Central Government departments across the project lifecycle, aligning expectations and resolving structuring issues.
- Project Structuring and Documentation: Lead the preparation of project documents, concept notes, technical notes, RFPs and institutional frameworks for externally aided projects, ensuring quality and alignment with MDB requirements.
- Institutional Strengthening: Strengthen governance, fiduciary and operational systems to enable rapid onboarding and effective delivery of externally aided programmes.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and manage relationships with government departments, partner institutions and MDBs to enable convergence and unblock implementation bottlenecks.
- Knowledge and Advisory: Advise leadership on structuring options, institutional design and partnership frameworks; contribute to institutional knowledge on externally aided projects.

- Strong commitment to public purpose and demonstrated interest in the social impact and governance space




- Demonstrated experience in coordination with Multilateral Development Banks and State/Central Government departments
- Solid understanding of institutional structuring, fiduciary frameworks and externally aided project design
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas and engage effectively with both internal teams and senior government stakeholders verbally and in writing
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, operational and problem-solving skills

C) Qualification Criteria :Post-graduate degree in Law, Public Policy, Economics, Governance or a related discipline from a recognized University or Professional Institution recognized by Government.

D) Experience

Minimum 7 years relevant professional experience in public-sector advisory, governance, institutional strengthening or externally aided project support; demonstrated experience in coordination with Multilateral Development Banks and State or Central Government departments is required; experience in preparing project documents, technical notes, RFPs or institutional frameworks for externally aided projects is desirable.
