Job Title: Procurement Executive Sofa Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a Procurement Executive Sofa Specialist to manage the end-to-end sourcing and procurement of sofas and upholstered furniture. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of sofa manufacturing, materials, vendor management, quality standards, and cost negotiation. This role will be responsible for ensuring timely procurement of high-quality products at competitive prices while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Responsibilities and Ownership:

- Source and procure sofas, recliners, sofa-cum-beds, and other upholstered furniture from manufacturers and vendors.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to improve product quality, pricing, and supply reliability.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and contracts with vendors.
- Monitor market trends, material costs, and competitor offerings to ensure competitive procurement strategies.
- Coordinate with design, operations, warehouse, and quality teams for product requirements and inventory planning.
- Conduct supplier audits and factory visits to assess production capabilities and quality standards.
- Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Manage purchase orders, procurement documentation, and supplier performance records.




- Resolve supplier-related issues, including quality concerns, delivery delays, and commercial disputes.
- Track procurement KPIs such as cost savings, vendor performance, and order fulfillment rates.

Required Skills

- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.

- 2 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, preferably in furniture procurement.

- Robust understanding of sofa manufacturing processes, upholstery materials, foam, fabric, leather, wood, and metal frames.

- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.

- Strong analytical and cost-management abilities.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/procurement management systems.

- Willingness to travel for vendor visits and factory inspections.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in furniture rental, retail, e-commerce, or manufacturing industries.

- Existing network of sofa manufacturers and furniture suppliers.

- Knowledge of quality control standards for upholstered furniture.
