We are looking for a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Specialist with 4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in strategic sourcing, zero-based costing, and commodities like sheet metal or similar materials.

Roles and Responsibility

- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE/BTech) or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of strategic sourcing principles and practices.
- Experience with zero-based costing methods and analysis.
- Familiarity with die casting processes and exposure to sheet metal or similar materials.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
