Qualification
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- 7 -10 years of experience in the Oil Gas / Petrochemical / Fertilizer industries preferred.
- Knowledge of in-service inspection damage mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience with RBI software tools.
Additional Qualification
- API 510 / 570 / 653 (any one certification required)
- API 571 Certification
- NDT/Welding Certification
Job Responsibility
- Perform in-service inspections as per applicable codes.
- Perform/coordinate NDT (UT, RT, MT, PT, PAUT, etc.)
- Identify evaluate damage mechanisms recommend mitigation measures.
- Perform data collection for RBI implementation and ensure data quality and completeness for RBI analysis.
- Develop corrosion loops and determine damage mechanisms.
- Perform quality reviews of corrosion/RBI data, ensuring proper credit of historical inspection data.
- Support RLA and FFS assessments.
- Provide field inspection data collection support.
- Interface with inspection, operation, and maintenance teams.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Prepare failure investigation reports.
- Prepare inspection reports and inspection plans.
