To support and drive all Human Resource and Industrial Relations activities at the manufacturing unit by ensuring statutory compliance, employee engagement, manpower planning, payroll administration, recruitment, training coordination, and employee relations while fostering a harmonious and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Industrial Relations

- Promote and implement the organization's HR philosophy and policies at the unit level.
- Maintain harmonious employee relations by addressing grievances and managing a multicultural workforce.
- Facilitate effective communication between management and employees.
- Support negotiations with trade unions and contribute to amicable settlements.
- Conduct employee counseling and conflict resolution activities.
- Manage employee separation processes and conduct exit interviews.

Statutory Compliance & Audits

- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate and support statutory inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Liaise with statutory and non-statutory authorities as required.
- Ensure timely submission of PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements.

Manpower Planning & Recruitment

- Prepare, review, and monitor unit manpower plans.
- Recruit operational-level employees and contract/casual workforce as per approved manpower budgets.
- Coordinate onboarding activities and induction programs for new employees.
- Manage contract labor deployment and compliance.

Payroll & HR Operations

- Coordinate payroll input preparation and ensure timely submission of payroll-related data.
- Resolve employee payroll-related queries and grievances promptly.




- Monitor attendance management and report deviations from organizational norms.
- Maintain employee master data in SAP and ensure personal files are updated and compliant.
- Prepare and maintain HR MIS reports and workforce analytics.

Learning & Development

- Coordinate with the Learning & Development team for Training Need Identification (TNI).
- Facilitate internal and external training programs.
- Support the development of internal trainers and capability-building initiatives.

Employee Engagement & Performance Management

- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives specific to the unit.
- Implement and manage employee recognition programs, including Synthite Star.
- Coordinate and administer the Performance Management System (PMS) at the unit level.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee morale, motivation, and retention.

Administration & Employee Welfare

- Oversee employee welfare facilities including canteen and related administrative services.
- Support employee facility planning and management.
- Ensure employee welfare activities are aligned with organizational standards.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Timely submission of payroll inputs and HR reports.
- 100% compliance with PF, ESI, PT, and statutory deadlines.
- Effective resolution of employee grievances within defined timelines.




- Accurate and timely updating of employee records in SAP and physical files.
- Timely recruitment and onboarding of manpower as per approved plans.
- Compliance with statutory and internal audits.
- Effective management of contract labor and workforce records.
- Successful execution of employee engagement and recognition programs.
- Timely preparation and submission of HR MIS reports.

Preferred Qualifications

- MBA / MSW in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Personnel Management, or related discipline.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in Plant HR, HR Operations, Industrial Relations, or Manufacturing HR environment.
- Experience in handling statutory compliance, payroll, recruitment, employee engagement, and workforce administration in a manufacturing setup is preferred.
