Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in OS baseline management, system hardening, network infrastructure, backup & recovery solutions, and infrastructure monitoring. The role involves maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable IT environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and administer Windows and/or Linux server infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain OS baseline configurations across enterprise systems.
- Perform OS hardening in accordance with industry security standards (CIS, STIG, etc.).
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure including switches, routers, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls.
- Administer backup and disaster recovery solutions and regularly validate backup integrity through restoration testing.
- Monitor servers, storage, network devices, and infrastructure components using enterprise monitoring tools.
- Perform system patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation activities.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity services.
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure incidents while ensuring SLA compliance.
- Develop automation scripts for routine administration tasks wherever applicable.




- Create and maintain infrastructure documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
- Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement infrastructure security best practices.
- Provide L2/L3 support for production environments and participate in on-call support when required.

Required Skills

- Robust experience in Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
- Hands-on experience with OS baseline implementation and system hardening.
- Good understanding of enterprise network infrastructure and troubleshooting.
- Experience with backup technologies such as Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure monitoring tools such as Zabbix, SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, SCOM, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy.
- Understanding of patch management and vulnerability remediation.
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Infrastructure certifications such as Microsoft, Red Hat, VMware, Cisco CCNA, ITIL, or equivalent are preferred.
- Experience working in enterprise production environments.
