Role Overview

The Finance Head will be responsible for managing the overall finance function of ABP Management Services, including financial planning & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, MIS, financial reporting, cash flow management, compliance, controls, and business finance support. This role requires a strong commercial and analytical finance professional who can partner with leadership, improve financial discipline, and support strategic business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Budgeting

- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process for ABP Management Services.
- Prepare annual operating plans, departmental budgets, and rolling forecasts aligned with business goals.
- Monitor budget utilization and track actuals versus budget/forecast.
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to ensure financial discipline.
- Financial Analysis & Business Finance

- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Analyze revenue, profitability, cost structures, business performance, and growth trends.
- Support management with business finance inputs, profitability analysis, and decision support.
- Develop financial models and business scenarios to support planning and expansion decisions.

MIS, Reporting & Management Dashboards

- Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, MIS, and management dashboards.
- Ensure timely preparation and review of P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and business performance reports.
- Present key financial insights, trends, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.




- Build reporting structures that support data-driven decision-making across the business.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

- Manage cash flow planning, liquidity, and working capital for the organization.
- Monitor receivables, payables, operating expenses, and fund utilization.
- Ensure effective cash flow forecasting and financial discipline in day-to-day operations.
- Support leadership in fund planning and resource optimization.

Accounting, Controls & Compliance

- Ensure robust financial controls, accounting accuracy, and compliance with internal policies.
- Oversee statutory compliance, tax compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and external stakeholders on audit and compliance matters.
- Strengthen SOPs, governance processes, and internal financial controls.

Cost Management & Profitability

- Drive cost control initiatives and monitor operating expenses across functions.
- Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for efficiency improvement and margin enhancement.
- Support business heads in cost planning, resource allocation, and productivity-linked financial decision-making.
- Ensure focus on profitability and financial sustainability of the business.





Leadership & Business Partnering

- Work closely with senior leadership on business planning, strategic decisions, and financial performance management.
- Act as a finance partner to business and functional heads by providing financial guidance and commercial insights.
- Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and process excellence.
- Drive a culture of accountability, governance, and financial discipline across the organization.

Candidate Profile

- Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, MIS, financial analysis, business finance, reporting, and compliance.
- Proven ability to independently lead the finance function in a fast-paced business environment.
- Strong understanding of P&L; management, cash flow, financial controls, taxation, audits, and governance.
- Ability to support leadership with commercial insights, financial strategy, and decision support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- High ownership, maturity, confidentiality, and business orientation.

Preferred Experience

- 1018 years of relevant experience in Finance, FP&A;, Business Finance, Controllership, or Finance Leadership roles.
- Prior experience as a Finance Head / Senior Finance Manager / Finance Controller is preferred.

- Experience in a services, consulting, staffing, recruitment, or professional services environment will be an advantage.

- Strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting, MIS, reporting, controls, audit, taxation, and financial planning.
