About the Role

A commercially-focused Microsoft architect who designs optimized, compliant licensing and Azure consumption structures across Microsoft 365, Azure and Copilot and then carries them through delivery and customer onboarding. As a Microsoft CSP partner, these decisions directly shape Visionets margin, compliance, and customer trust, so the role partners closely with Sales/GTM and Delivery teams to ensure what is sold is cleanly deployed and adopted.

Key Responsibilities

- Design Microsoft 365 / Office 365 licensing (E3, E5, F-SKUs, security compliance add-ons), Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Copilot SKU mix.
- Architect Azure commercial structures EA, MCA, CSP Azure Plan (NCE) and optimize consumption via Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Azure Hybrid Benefit, and MACC.
- Lead EA-to-CSP / MCA transitions and structure NCE lifecycle (term, seats, renewals, mid-term changes).
- Protect margin through disciplined SKU selection, structured discounting, and commercial governance.
- Design Azure management group hierarchy, subscription segmentation, and landing-zone-aligned governance.
- Partner with Sales/GTM to shape deals, validate licensing and Azure costs in RFPs, and surface upsell and EA-displacement opportunities.
- Work with Cloud Architects and Delivery to ensure designs are deliverable and producing licensing blueprints
- Own customer onboarding tenant/SKU provisioning, Azure Plan activation, and renewal/true-up governance.

Qualifications Experience

Required

- 6 12 years in the Microsoft ecosystem with hands-on licensing and Azure commercial solutioning.
- Solid CSP experience in a Microsoft Partner organization, including the Azure Plan under NCE.
- Deep knowledge of M365/O365 SKUs, security compliance add-ons, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform licensing.
- Solid command of Azure commercial models EA, MCA, Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Azure Hybrid Benefit, MACC.
- Commercial mindset; able to challenge SKU/agreement decisions and engage CIO, CFO, and IT stakeholders.

Preferred

- Experience owning CSP, Microsoft 365, or Azure customer onboarding.
- FinOps and Azure cost-management knowledge.
- Microsoft certifications (Azure, M365, Security) or licensing accreditations.
