Role & responsibilities

- Drive SME lending business across Manufacturing, Trading, and Services sectors with a focus on sustainable financing.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Build a strong pipeline of SME customers with ticket sizes up to INR 20 Cr.
- Identify new market opportunities, industry clusters, and emerging segments within the region.

Lead lending initiatives across sectors including:

- Steel
- Auto & Auto Ancillaries
- Textiles
- Chemicals
- Clean Energy & Renewables
- Electric Vehicles (EV)
- Agri-tech
- Waste Management
- Water & Sanitation

Promote and scale SME lending products including:

- Working Capital Finance
- Term Loans
- Asset / Equipment Finance
- Customize financial solutions based on client needs, sector dynamics, and cash-flow assessments.
- Lead, mentor, and manage regional sales and relationship management teams.
- Build and strengthen sourcing channels including DSAs, channel partners, CAs, consultants, and industry associations.
- Drive productivity, capability building,



and performance management across the sales team.
- Work closely with Credit, Risk, and Operations teams to ensure timely sanctions and disbursements.
- Ensure portfolio quality by maintaining strong underwriting discipline and early warning mechanisms.
- Monitor regional portfolio performance, delinquencies, and corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to internal credit policies, regulatory guidelines, and compliance standards.
- Promote ethical sales practices and strong governance across the region.

Preferred candidate profile

- Robust understanding of SME lending, credit appraisal, and cash-flow-based financing.
- Deep sectoral knowledge across manufacturing, services, and sustainable finance segments.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinking with strong execution focus.
