Role Summary

The role is responsible for conducting internal audits across factories with a focus on payroll verification, labor law compliance, statutory documentation, and social compliance requirements. The position will support identification of risk areas of payroll & statutory benefits, compliance gaps, and implementation of corrective actions across units.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct internal audits across factories on payroll, labor compliance, and statutory requirements.
- Verify wage calculations, overtime, attendance records, deductions, and statutory benefits.
- Review compliance with applicable labor laws, working hours, contractor compliance, and employee records.
- Verify statutory registers, licenses, notices, and legal documentation.
- Prepare audit reports, highlight non-compliances, and track corrective action closure.
- Coordinate with HR, payroll, compliance, and factory management teams for resolution of audit findings.

Qualification & Experience





- Graduate in Commerce / HR / Finance / Business Administration / Law.
- MBA / MSW / MHRM / CA Inter preferred.
- 510 years of experience in internal audit, payroll verification, labor law compliance, or social compliance audits.
- Experience in garment, textile, manufacturing, or export industry preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of labor laws and payroll processes.
- Positive analytical and auditing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and audit documentation.
- Strong communication and report-writing abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across factory locations.

Preferred Exposure

Experience in customer compliance standards such as SLCP, SMETA, WRAP, Higg FSLM, Disney, Gap, Carhartt, Adidas, PUMA or similar frameworks will be an added advantage.
