About the Role

EOXS is looking for passionate, curious, and self-driven Software Developer Interns who are eager to build a career in software development while working on real-world enterprise applications.

As a Software Developer Intern, you will work alongside experienced developers to design, build, test, and enhance features for EOXS' AI-powered ERP platform built on Odoo. This internship provides hands-on exposure to enterprise software development, modern technologies, AI-assisted development, and collaborative product engineering.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience while contributing to products used by businesses across North America.

Key Responsibilities

1. Software Development

- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining features for EOXS' ERP platform.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards.
- Develop and enhance modules, APIs, and backend functionality.
- Work on bug fixing, troubleshooting, and performance improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and implement feedback from senior developers.
- Debug and resolve technical issues in existing applications.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and Implementation teams during feature development.

2. Learning & Technical Growth

- Learn and work with the Odoo framework and enterprise application development.
- Gain exposure to Python, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, XML, HTML, and CSS.
- Understand software architecture, APIs, and database design.
- Use Git for version control and team-oriented development.
- Continuously improve programming skills by learning new technologies and best practices.
- Stay updated with modern software development trends and AI-powered development tools.

3. Testing & Quality Assurance

- Write and execute unit tests for developed features.
- Identify,



reproduce, and resolve software defects.
- Ensure applications meet quality, security, and performance standards.
- Validate functionality before deployment.
- Document technical work and maintain accurate development records.

4. Team Collaboration

- Work closely with developers, product managers, and implementation consultants.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and technical discussions.
- Communicate progress, blockers, and solutions effectively.
- Complete assigned tasks within agreed timelines.

Required Skills

- Good understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge of Python or willingness to learn Python quickly.
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web technologies.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and client-server architecture.
- Knowledge of Git or any version control system is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to writing quality code.

Experience or familiarity with any of the following will be an advantage:

Eligibility

- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Software Engineering
- Computer Applications
- Electronics
- Artificial Intelligence
- Or a related technical discipline.

- Strong academic foundation in programming concepts.

Experience

- 02 years of experience in software development, programming, or related technical projects.
- Academic projects, internships, hackathons, freelance work, or personal projects will be considered an advantage.

Candidates must have:

- A personal laptop suitable for software development.
- A reliable high-speed internet connection.
- Mobile data backup.
- Power backup to ensure uninterrupted remote work.
