Role & responsibilities

- Diagnose generator differential trip, Perform IR & PI interpretation, identify hotspots using thermography, synchronization, analyze relay logs, plan breaker maintenance, evaluate transformer oil reports, prepare shutdown plan, perform RCA
- Generator maintenance including testing and synchronization with grid
- Knowledge of Generator Protection Relays and Protection Classes.
- Knowledge Of Import/Export power during synchronization.
- Basic knowledge of AVR operations & testing.
- Knowledge of Critical spare parts related to Generator & Generator panels.
- Knowledge of LASCPT & NGR panel operations.
- Generator/transformer/feeder protection, relay settings, coordination
- VCB, SF6, ACB, maintenance, contact resistance, timing, interlocks
- Oil tests, DGA, BDV, Furan, OLTC, cooling
- Termination, jointing, IR, VLF, Hi-Pot, PD
- Thermography, vibration, ultrasonic, MCA
- RCA of trips, overheating, earth faults
- LOTO, PTW, arc flash, earthing, switching
- PM, PdM, CMMS, shutdown planning
- Relays, transformers, HT switchgear, generators, motors, safety, predictive maintenance, shutdowns, RCA, IEC/IEEE
