Role & responsibilities

- Checking and reviewing General Arrangement (GA) drawings, detailed 2D fabrication drawings, and 3D models.
- Preparing and reviewing engineering drawings in accordance with client specifications, applicable standards, and project requirements.
- Ensuring drawing quality, accuracy, and compliance before client submission.
- Coordinating with clients to resolve technical comments, drawing revisions, and engineering queries.
- Reviewing and guiding the preparation of fabrication and assembly drawings.
- Providing technical support and mentoring junior designers and draftsmen.
- Coordinating with project, design, and production teams for timely completion of deliverables.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures.
- Reviewing Bills of Materials (BOM) and supporting engineering documentation.
- Knowledge and experience in steel structure design and detailing will be an added advantage.

Preferred candidate profile

12+ years of experience in engineering design and drafting. Retired or nearing retirement professionals who wish to continue their career or as a consultant are also encouraged to apply.
