Role & responsibilities

- Initiate civil work execution in collaboration with Project Engineering civil team and ensure productive steady state operations at the project site
- Support the Head- Execution to formulate Civil work strategy based on criticality of requirements, cost control norms and quality specifications
- Implement approved drawings for construction ensuring feasibility of work at site, estimating cost of work based on present prevailing rates, obtaining necessary concurrence from concerned departments and finalization of budget
- Collaborate regularly with internal stakeholders including technical departments (E&I;, Mechanical, Safety) and Commercial departments (Logistics, Materials, HR) to support ongoing execution related to Civil works
- Ensure effective operation and maintenance of the project site in line with safety and regulation standards.




- Drive usage of In-house material or Equipment on the project site to optimize costs and reduce time to availability
- Collaborate with the Materials team to reduce the procurement cost & delivery time related to civil works
- Monitor & ensure adherence of project costing (against sanctioned budget) & implementation against timelines (against project schedule)
- Co-ordinate for structural design, architectural features and landscape details from respective consultants wherever required during the execution of the project
- Ensure instructions about work order are translated to work plan for the contactors and internal Projects execution team
- Ensure execution on work on the ground by own team as well as contractor as per SOPs, both legally and technically
