JOB DESCRIPTION SENIOR 2D DESIGNER
3+ Years of experience only
Role Summary
The Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate, coordinated, and execution-ready
technical drawings from approved design 3D models.The role ensures that 2d drawings
comply with drafting standards,modular standards, and execution requirements while
coordinating with Designers, 3D Visualizers, Project Managers, and the Design Quality
Check (DQC) team.
Technical Competencies :
1.Assist Designers in space planning and design feasibility analysis.
2.Provide timely technical inputs to designers / 3d visualizers to reduce design errors.
3.Develop accurate 2D production drawings from approved 3D models.
4.Coordinate with 3D Visualizers to ensure rendered visuals align with 2d
drawings and technical standards.
5.Collaborate with Project Managers through site visits to validate design feasibility,
identify site constraints, and update drawings to suit actual site conditions.




6.Work in close coordination with the Design Quality Check (DQC) Team to address
technical errors and ensure compliance with design quality standards.
7.Maintain structured and well-organized drawing presentations.
Requirements :
8.Proficient in AutoCAD.
9.Positive knowledge of materials, finishes, modular furniture, hardware, and
construction methods.

Strong understanding of space planning and technical detailing.
11.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve technical
discrepancies

Ability to collaborate effectively and meet project deadlines.
Deliver high-quality drawings with minimal errors and revision of drawings.
Contribute to improving drafting standards.
Stay updated with the latest interior design trends, materials, hardware, and
mechanisms.
