SAP R2R - Very strong in foundation skills , they would not compromise. they will check for all of the below skills

SAP FI GL, AP, AR, Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting , SAP CO

SAP FI and FICA integration knowledge also is must.

SAP OTC - Billing ( Not SAP SD Billing )

BRIM experience, FI-CA, CI ( convergent Invoicing ) , Subscription order management

Key Responsibilities:

Record to Report (R2R) Core:

- General Ledger & Reporting: Manage end-to-end General Ledger (GL) accounting, including the posting of journal entries, accruals, and deferrals.
- Month/Year-End Closings: Drive end-to-end closing activities, ensuring strict adherence to reporting timelines and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Reconciliation: Perform complex balance sheet, bank, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Fixed Assets: Manage fixed asset transactions, capitalization, and depreciation runs.

Order to Cash (OTC)



Integration:

- AR & Billing Integration: Oversee AR sub-ledger, ensuring accurate data flow from OTC billing documents to FI accounting.
- Credit & Collections: Support OTC credit limit management, dispute handling, and cash applications/allocations directly into SAP.
- Process Alignment: Ensure the mapping of OTC tax codes, pricing procedures, and payment terms perfectly align with R2R reporting standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting, CA/ICWA, or MBA (Finance).
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience in SAP FICO, with deep functional knowledge of S/4HANA Finance or ECC 6.0.
- Domain Expertise: Strong background in global financial accounting rules, US GAAP/Ind-AS, and financial auditing.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, stakeholder management, and robust communication abilities.
