Role Summary:

The Technician/Operator in Engineering (Instrumentation) is responsible for the operational, maintenance, and project activities of plant equipment. This role involves performing breakdown maintenance activities in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and executing preventive maintenance tasks as per the scheduled plan. The technician ensures the routine maintenance of production equipment, verifying and ensuring their smooth operation. Additionally, the role supports the project team in ongoing projects and assists in the installation of equipment and systems within the plant. The technician is also responsible for supporting validation, calibration, and annual maintenance contract (AMC) activities as per SOPs. They are tasked with executing and maintaining all documentation related to preventive and breakdown maintenance for production equipment. Furthermore, the technician records data related to maintenance activities and prepares, reviews, and maintains all engineering department documents in compliance with Valuable Documentation Practices (GDP).



The role may also involve performing additional activities as assigned by superiors.

Role Responsibility:

- Execute preventive maintenance tasks according to the scheduled plan.

- Ensure routine maintenance and verify the smooth operation of production equipment.

- Support the project team in ongoing projects and assist with equipment/system installations.

- Participate in validation, calibration, and AMC activities as per SOPs.

- Execute and maintain documentation related to preventive and breakdown maintenance.

- Record data related to maintenance activities and ensure compliance with GDP.

- Prepare, review, and maintain engineering department documents.

- Undertake additional activities as assigned by superiors.
