Support Safety Case development and liaise with Independent Safety Assessors (ISA) / Certification bodies.

Track and manage safety requirements through requirements traceability matrices.

Participate in design reviews, safety review panels, and risk assessment workshops.

Investigate reliability/safety incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.

Coordinate with Application engineering, design,

testing, and operations teams to ensure RAMS & SRAC compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Practical experience with RAMS analysis tools/techniques: FMECA, FTA, RBD, HAZOP, ETA (Event Tree Analysis).

Familiarity with CSM-RA, Safety Case preparation, and Hazard Log management.

Experience working with regulatory bodies, Independent Safety Assessors, or Notified/Designated Bodies is desirable.

Robust analytical, technical writing, and documentation skills.

Proficiency with RAMS software tools (e.g., Isograph Reliability Workbench, RAM Commander, or similar) is an advantage.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with design, engineering, and project teams.

Knowledge of project lifecycle (V-model) in systems engineering context.

Desirable Skills

Certification/training in Functional Safety (e.g., TV Functional Safety Engineer) is a plus.

Experience with signalling systems (CBTC, ETCS/ERTMS), rolling stock, or railway electrification systems.

Exposure to international railway projects (metro, high-speed rail, mainline).
