Industry Sector: Clinical healthcare maternal and women s health services in a primary/secondary care hospital setting located in Becharaji, Gujarat. This is an on-site clinical consultant role delivering inpatient, outpatient, surgical and emergency obstetric services to a growing community.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient obstetric and gynaecologic care including routine antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal management.
- Perform and lead deliveries vaginal and operative (Caesarean sections) and manage common gynaecologic surgical procedures safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose and manage high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies (e.g., PPH, eclampsia); stabilise and coordinate referrals when required.
- Undertake and interpret obstetric and gynaecologic imaging and diagnostic procedures (including transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasound).
- Maintain up-to-date clinical records, follow hospital protocols, participate in morbidity mortality reviews and contribute to clinical audits to improve outcomes.
- Mentor junior doctors and nursing staff, collaborate with paediatrics, anaesthesia and allied teams, and participate in community maternal health initiatives.

Essential Qualifications Experience
- Postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics Gynaecology (MS/MD/DGO) recognised by the National Medical Commission.
- Valid registration with National/State Medical Council and licence to practice in India.
- Proven clinical experience managing deliveries, LSCS and gynaecologic surgeries in a hospital setting; experience in rural or semi-urban centres is an advantage.
