Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist with 35 years of experience, primarily in Payroll and HR Operations. The ideal candidate should have worked in an IT Consulting, Software Development, SaaS, or Technology company and possess hands-on experience in payroll processing, employee lifecycle management, statutory compliance, HR documentation, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll & Compensation

- Process monthly payroll accurately and within defined timelines.
- Coordinate payroll inputs including attendance, leave, reimbursements, incentives, variable pay, and statutory deductions.
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, PT, TDS, gratuity, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Manage Full & Final (F&F;) settlements for exiting employees.
- Resolve employee payroll-related queries in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with finance and external payroll vendors, where applicable.

HR Operations

- Manage the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit.
- Prepare and issue offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters, experience letters, relieving letters, and other HR documentation.
- Conduct employee onboarding and induction programs.
- Coordinate background verification and documentation.
- Maintain employee records, HRMS, and personnel files with complete accuracy.
- Manage attendance, leave records, and employee database.
- Ensure HR documentation complies with company policies and audit requirements.
- Support internal HR audits and process improvement initiatives.

Compliance

- Ensure adherence to Indian labor laws and statutory compliance requirements.
- Maintain statutory records and coordinate compliance-related activities.
- Support policy implementation and ensure HR processes are compliant with organizational standards.

Employee Engagement

- Plan, coordinate, and execute employee engagement initiatives, celebrations, and wellness activities.
- Organize employee recognition programs, festivals,



team-building events, and cultural activities.
- Support employee communication initiatives and help foster a positive workplace culture.
- Conduct employee feedback surveys and assist in implementing engagement action plans.
- Collaborate with department heads to enhance employee experience and engagement across the organization.

HR Reporting

- Prepare monthly HR and payroll reports.
- Maintain HR dashboards covering headcount, attrition, leave balances, and other key HR metrics.
- Generate reports for management as required.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Payroll Processing and HR Operations.
- Good understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Experience handling PF, ESI, PT, TDS, gratuity, and Full & Final settlements.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS and payroll software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Strong documentation, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

- 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
- Mandatory experience in Payroll and HR Operations.
- Experience working in an IT Consulting, Software Development, SaaS, or Technology company is essential.
- Experience with HRMS platforms such as Zoho People, Keka, Darwinbox, GreytHR, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar HR systems will be preferred.
