Role Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and formulate individualized treatment plans for adult and adolescent patients.
- Prescribe and manage pharmacotherapy regimens, monitor therapeutic efficacy, and adjust medications based on clinical response and side-effect profiles.
- Collaborate with clinical psychologists, counselors, and care coordinators to deliver integrated, team-based interventions aligned to patient goals.
- Document clinical notes, progress summaries, and treatment outcomes in our EMR system with precision and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Participate in case conferences, peer reviews, and quality improvement initiatives to uphold clinical governance and patient safety.
- Engage in patient and family psychoeducation, stigma-reduction counseling, and community outreach to strengthen mental health awareness.

Skills Qualifications

Must-Have





- DM Psychiatry or DNB Psychiatry (or equivalent post-MD qualification)
- Valid NMC registration with active license to practice in India
- Proficiency in clinical assessment tools (e.g., HAM-D, MMSE, GAD-7, PHQ-9)
- Experience managing common psychiatric disorders: depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, OCD, PTSD
- Strong documentation and EMR proficiency (e.g., Tally, Practo, or custom EHR platforms)
- Ability to work within clinical protocols while adapting treatment for cultural and socioeconomic diversity

Preferred

- Experience in telepsychiatry or outpatient clinic settings
- Training or certification in CBT, DBT, or psychodynamic therapy modalities
- Experience supervising junior residents or allied mental health professionals
