We are looking for an experienced Senior Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for a Valve manufacturing company. The role involves sourcing raw materials, engineering components, vendor management, cost optimization, and ensuring timely procurement to support production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Procure raw materials, engineering components, and consumables required for Valve manufacturing
- Source and develop reliable vendors for castings, forgings, machined components, seals, fasteners, and bought-out items
- Float RFQs, compare quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize purchase orders
- Ensure timely procurement to meet production and project schedules
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, QA, and Engineering teams
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, quality, and cost
- Develop alternate vendors to improve cost, quality, and supply reliability
- Maintain inventory levels and avoid material shortages




- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and documentation
- Prepare procurement reports, MIS, and vendor performance reviews
- Required Candidate Profile:

- Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering
- 5-8 years of purchase/procurement experience in Valve Manufacturing, Industrial Equipment, Pumps, Oil & Gas, Heavy Engineering, or Process Equipment
- Robust knowledge of engineering materials and manufacturing processes
- Experience in vendor development, strategic sourcing, and commercial negotiations
- Good understanding of BOM, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
- Hands-on experience with ERP/SAP and MS Excel
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
