Role & responsibilities

- Facilitating communication, choosing suitable plant equipment and machinery (of Steel Melt Shop & Rolling Mill), acquiring, installing, and initiating operation, conducting trials
- Developing maintenance plans encompassing preventative, predictive, detective, and corrective
- measures for all related equipment.
- Maintenance Cost Budgeting.
- Spares/ Inventory Management.
- Assisting Top Management in achieving Organizational Goal by minimizing Breakdown Time (Maximum Plant Availability) & Reduction in Maintenance Cost.
- Liaisoning with Punjab State Power Corporation Limited.
- Developed and managed maintenance cost budgets, spare parts.
- Under taking erection and commissioning activities for a range of projects, including Vacuum Degassing, Power quality system Harmonic filter & PR enhancement s, CFD& BB, 24" & 16 bar Rolling Mill, and O2 plant
- Responsible for LOTO, Electrical Safety, EHS Risk Assessment in Area of Control
- Responsible for Internal & External System Audit about the ISO 14001 & 45001
- Maintenance tasks, including preventive, predictive, detective, and corrective maintenance, on all associated equipment,



such as 66KV Sub-Station with power Transformers and HV switch gears, LT sw gears
- Managing a variety of equipment, including Fully Automated Continuous Casting Machine (CCM), GEC Make 20-25 Ton Eastern Meter, electrical ARC Furnaces and Ladle Refining Furnace etc & its automation system.

- Supervised allied equipment's such as EOT cranes (ranging from 10 to 60 Ton capacity), Pump House, Oxygen Plant, L.T. Distribution system, 750 KVA D.G Set, and Thermax make Fume Extraction Systems
- Handled inventory management for spares and liaised with Punjab State Electricity Board and other Electrical/Electronic vendors.
- Responsible for implementation, maintenance & improvement in respective area of control the
- requirements of ISO/IATF certifications, Standard Operating procedures.
- Maintaining and operating various types of plant machinery such as Electric Arc Furnaces, LRF & VD or rolling mill, and more.
- Offering skill progressive experience combined with sound judgement and creative problem-solving abilities.
