Key Skills Required
The following are mandatory skills for this role:
- Reqnoll (SpecFlow) – BDD-based test authoring
- TypeScript and/or Python – automation scripting
- API Testing – Postman, SoapUI, or REST-Assured
- BDD / TDD methodologies
- CI/CD pipeline integration – Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Harness
- SQL – test data and database validation
- Test frameworks – TestNG, Cucumber
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of QA automation experience in a software or SaaS environment
- Experience with automated and manual testing – planning, script development, and maintenance
- Retail or Unified Commerce domain experience preferred
- Familiarity with OMS, POS, or e-commerce order flows is a plus
- Experience working with global or cross-regional teams (North America, Europe preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using SpecFlow, TypeScript/Python,
and API testing tools
- Create detailed test plans and test cases covering OMS flows – order creation, BOPIS, ship-from-store, returns, and order orchestration
- Execute automated and manual tests; analyze results and report defects with transparent reproduction steps
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous and reliable delivery
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define test scenarios from requirements
- Maintain and enhance the test automation framework for scalability and long-term maintainability
- Participate in Agile ceremonies – sprint planning, code reviews, retrospectives
- Provide guidance and peer support to QA team members on automation tools and best practices
- Stay current on QA trends, tools, and emerging technologies
