Role & Responsibilities:-
1. Establish safety procedure for the plant
2. Daily round to identify & rectify unsafe condition & unsafe act (Daily)
3. Manage Toolbox talk for all area (Daily)
4. Housekeeping for all area (Daily)
5. Compliance to PPE by the workers (Daily)
6. Review installation of fire extinguishers(weekly review)
7. Coach workers on protected behaviour and identify nomination for safety awards
8. First Aids Kit (weekly review)
9. Conduct safety town hall (Monthly)
10. Organise Fire drill(Once in 6 month)
11. Maintain Fire & Safety documentation(LTA board updation, RIIR, Legal non compliance
data, HIRA(To be start for khopoli plant), SOT, Unsafe act, Unsafe condition, Near miss,
Safety Incident)
12. Liasoning with external agency(Fire NOC,Health certificate, etc)
13. Monitor Equipment safety (Moving parts guards, electrical connections, etc)
14. Monitor safety during installation of equipment
15. Focal point for coordination for untoward incident or accident in the plant (Immediate
corrective actions, performing root cause analysis, implement preventive actions,
Coordinate with external agencies )
16.



Prepare and participate in EMR & OR
17. Organise and conduct safety & fire audit
18. Coordinate with Sanjan Safety Officer for any Corporate safety activities
