Role: Java Senior Backend Engineer

Location : Bengaluru

Job Summary: We are seeking Senior Backend Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices to design, develop, and maintain robust distributed backend applications.

Basic Qualifications

- Minimum 5+ years of relevant skilled experience
- B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
- 5+ years of experience writing Java APIs
- Strong proficiency in Distributed systems, Low-latency services, NoSQL and relational databases
- Experience in systems design and architecture
- Experience building transactional systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Kafka, MongoDB, Spring Experience with AWS
- Experience in Python is a plus
- Experience in Financial Services or Fintech is a plus





Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement high-performance, scalable, and secure distributed backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Contribute to the architecture and evolution of our microservices ecosystem, ensuring adherence to best practices and design patterns.
- Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance, and security standards are met.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production and non-production environments.
