IAM L2 Engineer

Position Overview

The IAM L2 Engineer will be part of the Global Cyber Command team, responsible for investigating, responding, and remediating potential security incidents related to identity and access management. This role requires 5 8 years of experience in IAM and security operations, with robust technical expertise in enterprise IAM platforms and incident response.

Key Responsibilities

- Incident Response Investigation
- Investigate and respond to escalated security alerts from SIEM, endpoint, network, cloud, and threat intelligence tools.
- Validate potential security incidents, assess severity and business impact, and recommend appropriate response actions.
- Monitor alerts, perform event correlation, and identify anomalous activity across enterprise environments.
- Document, communicate, and track incidents through resolution.

- Identity Access Management Operations

- Respond to and resolve Level 2 IAM incidents and service tickets in a timely manner.
- Administer IAM tools such as Active Directory, Azure AD, SailPoint, or equivalent platforms.
- Process and troubleshoot user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access modification requests.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, enforcing RBAC and least privilege principles.
- Assist with access reviews, certification campaigns, and audit requests for compliance.

- Technical Support Collaboration

- Assist users with SSL certificate renewal through PKI tools (e.g., DigiCert).
- Manage access permissions and shared folder structures (File Server)
- Escalate complex issues to Level 3 engineers when required.
- Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and global security stakeholders to address incidents in line with company policies.
- Serve as a liaison between Global Business Services, business units, and other security/technology teams.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of IAM tasks

- Continuous Improvement

- Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements or automation opportunities.
- Review threat intelligence to maintain situational awareness and identify emerging risks.

Required Skills Experience





- 5 8 years of experience in IAM and security operations.
- Strong knowledge of IAM platforms (Active Directory, Entra ID, SailPoint).
- Experience with SIEM, endpoint, network, cloud, and threat intelligence tools.
- Hands-on expertise in user provisioning, RBAC, least privilege enforcement, and compliance processes.
- Familiarity with PKI tools for SSL certificate management.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across global teams and escalate issues effectively.
