Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Execution

- Provide visionary and strategic leadership for the complete project lifecycle and represent the project before management, senior leadership, consultants, government authorities, customers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
- Lead the end-to-end execution and erection of Quartz Mineral Processing / Quartz Grit Plant (QGP) projects from concept through commissioning, stabilization, and commercial production.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams across Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Process, and Project Controls functions.
- Develop comprehensive project execution strategies, implementation plans, schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
- Ensure timely completion of project milestones within approved budgets, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.
- Present project progress, risks, critical issues, and mitigation plans to the CEO and senior leadership team.
- Lead procurement support, equipment inspections, construction, erection, installation, commissioning, and Performance Guarantee Tests (PGT).
- Resolve critical technical, contractual, commercial, and execution-related issues.
- Ensure successful plant commissioning, ramp-up, stabilization, and transition to commercial production.

Engineering & Design Management

- Review and approve key engineering deliverables, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs;), plant layouts, equipment selection, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with engineering consultants, EPC contractors, PMC teams, OEMs, and technology providers.
- Ensure engineering designs comply with applicable technical standards, statutory requirements, safety regulations, and project specifications.




- Drive effective coordination between Process, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines.

Process Control & Efficiency Improvement

- Monitor and review engineering designs, process flow sheets, equipment configuration, and operating requirements for major plant equipment, including:
- Jaw Crushers and Cone Crushers
- Belt Conveyors and Bulk Material Handling Systems
- Screens and Classification Systems
- Vertical Roller Mills (VRM)
- Vertical Shaft Grinding (VSG) Systems
- Ball Mills
- Colour/Optical Sorters
- Pumps and Compressors
- Dust Collection and Pollution Control Systems
- Bucket Elevators
- Silos and Hoppers
- Material Handling Equipment
- Electrical Substations and associated utilities

- Drive process optimization initiatives to improve product quality, recovery, plant efficiency, throughput, and equipment performance while minimizing wastage and operating losses.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address process and project execution challenges.

Budget, CAPEX & Cost Control

- Prepare, manage, and control project budgets and Capital Expenditure (CAPEX).
- Monitor project cash flow, commitments, expenditures, resource utilization, and cost forecasts.
- Track budget deviations and conduct cost variance and variation analysis.
- Identify and implement value engineering, cost optimization,



and productivity improvement opportunities.
- Ensure effective financial and commercial governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Contract, Contractor & Vendor Management

- Lead the evaluation, finalization, appointment, and mobilization of contractors and project partners.
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of EPC contractors, PMC consultants, OEMs, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Review, negotiate, and administer major project contracts and commercial agreements.
- Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, project schedules, quality requirements, and technical specifications.
- Manage contractual variations, claims, scope changes, and commercial negotiations.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

- Lead and integrate multidisciplinary teams comprising Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Process, Instrumentation, Procurement, Contracts, Construction, and Project Controls professionals.
- Build high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, execution excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Establish effective communication and governance mechanisms across internal and external stakeholders.

Safety, Quality & Statutory Compliance

- Ensure implementation of Health, Safety & Setting (HSE) policies across all project activities.
- Promote and sustain a strong Zero Harm safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory, environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular project reviews, safety audits, quality audits, and risk assessments.
- Proactively identify project risks and implement effective mitigation and contingency plans.
