- Develop process design deliverables including process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs;, equipment layouts, utility balance sheets, and mass/energy balances for new biscuit lines and line modification projects.
- Define equipment selection criteria and prepare User Requirement Specifications (URS) for processing and packaging equipment including mixers, rotary moulders, tunnel ovens, cooling conveyors, and wrappers.
- Prepare Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and technical specifications; issue to shortlisted vendors and manage the technical clarification process.
- Conduct technical review comparatives (TRCs) to evaluate vendor proposals against technical, hygienic design, commercial, and compliance criteria; prepare recommendation reports for approval.
- Manage capital projects end-to-end: define scope, develop project schedules and budgets, track progress, manage risks and changes, and ensure timely delivery within approved parameters.
- Co-ordinate on-site project execution including contractor supervision, equipment installation, mechanical completion checks, FAT/SAT protocols, and commissioning activities.

Preferred Skills:





- In-depth knowledge of biscuit processing technology: mixing (short dough, hard sweet, rotary, wire-cut), tunnel baking, cooling, enrobing, and primary/secondary packaging.
- Process design skills: PFD and P&ID; development, equipment sizing, utility demand estimation, mass and energy balance calculations.
- Equipment selection and specification capability; ability to define URS, evaluate hygienic design standards (EHEDG/3-A), and assess vendor technical compliance.
- Proficiency in preparing RFPs, technical specifications, and managing the full vendor tender process including TRC preparation and recommendation reporting.
- Project management skills: scope definition, Gantt scheduling (MS Project or equivalent), CAPEX tracking, risk register management, and formal project close-out.
- In office project execution experience: contractor management, installation supervision, commissioning, FAT/SAT execution, and handover to operations.
