About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lighting Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in LED lighting product development, lighting design, PCB design, DIALux simulation, and AutoCAD. The role involves designing innovative lighting solutions, supporting new product development (NPD), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop LED lighting products and solutions.
- Perform lighting calculations and simulations using DIALux/DIALux Evo.
- Design and review PCB layouts for LED lighting applications.
- Prepare technical drawings, product specifications, Bill of Materials (BOM), and engineering documentation.
- Conduct product testing, validation, and performance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with relevant lighting standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with R&D;, Production, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Support New Product Development (NPD) initiatives from concept to production.
- Analyze product performance and recommend design improvements for efficiency,



reliability, and cost optimization.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during product development and manufacturing.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in LED lighting product design and development.
- Hands-on experience with DIALux/DIALux Evo for lighting simulation.
- Practical knowledge of PCB Design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Valuable understanding of optical, thermal, and electrical design principles for LED lighting.
- Experience in product testing, validation, and performance evaluation.
- Knowledge of lighting standards, regulations, and testing procedures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Qualifications

- BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in New Product Development (NPD) within the LED lighting or lighting manufacturing industry.
- Exposure to product lifecycle management and manufacturing processes.
- Experience working with OEM/ODM lighting products will be an added advantage.

Additional Requirement

- Candidate must be willing to relocate to Malur, Karnataka.
